Love this song... have been wanting to try it, but saw the score, got turned off... too tough.. haha at B-flat minor, its got 5 flats and the chords are killer... however still a very nice song from Yukie Nishimura... simply luv her... Have time to practice cos... FYP OVER OVER OVER OVER OVER!!!!!

This song apparently means "open the heart"... such a nice song, the bulk of the songs are played in black keys if you noticed... i simplified the song abit, omitted a few notes here and there but retain the original melody... hope you enjoy it as much as i played it...

Leafy Music...

Haven't been blogging... busy... FYP and stuff.. but its finally over... relief... FYP not something spectacular but at least i finished it decently, in my opinion that is... hah... Anyway, a couple of things to be happy about, got an A for my imagining imprisonment, much to the dismay of many... and YES JASMINE... its an A... dun suspect anything... now dilemma dunno which to SU. I thought maybe because my class a lot of Indonesian and well i gotta thank them in some way. Well Prof also said he gave credit to those with good handwriting because there are some atrocious ones that doubled his marking time... haha, so it pays to write neatly, or at least legibly.

Ok... hit by an inspiration this morning and decided to pen down this melody, jot down the chords and wrote it in overture (a software for musical transcription), and printed it out, cos I dun have manuscript pad in my hall, drawing lines are too tedious and untidy... haha... its kinda like a draft one, still need to refine...

Well, here is my first composition of 2008, "The Lass Faraway"(didn't know what to call it, Gin suggested this), for the special girl in my life, well she is pretty faraway... enjoy...


Next is a song by Ah Sang... 叶子... nice song... like it, but if you watched the MTV, i thought Selina sang so much better than her... ok, personal view...

Sad Pinky..

Haiz... sianz... very sad... lost IH finals, though not bad, still runner-up, but disappointed la. We would have won had Ryan played la... call him, ask him rush all the way back from Jakarta, stupid, never let him play. Haiz, politics, internal strife, woohoo, best team!!!

Haven't blogged for some time, deadlines after deadlines, meetings after meetings, almost couldn't breathe... *pant pant* CNY round the corner, wish all health and wealth through the year, more angpows and makan!!! What have I been doing the past few days? i sincerely dunno... wasting my life away, haha busy with making other ppl's v-day wonderful, haha *好伟大啊*

Origami also no new diagrams to try, either too simple or not nice, others too complex to understand... but maybe cos they never document properly... heh... hence hence hence, played piano instead.. Came across a song, written by Singapore's very own JJ for Vivian Hsu, absolutely love it, but you can't help feeling Vivian did not do justice to the song. The JJ version is so so much better, check it out on youtube when JJ sings it live during his concerts. Figured out the chords, though not all, only the main parts, gave it a try... played by ear, no score, even if have also won't share, go figure it out yourself... *selfish*

Then there is Yukie Nishimuras #$^%^&%@#* song. Dunno how to read or what it means, just feels that its super nice and soothing.

Next up, all time favourite, haha and a request from gingin, wanted to upload this song long ago, but thought its too personal and private *gingin fell in love with me after i played this song for her, so it kinda marks the start of our relationship*
Since she wants it up... hehe so here it is, Sundial Dreams... composed and performed first by the super talented king of contemporary moods (at least to me he is) Kevin Kern. But here, it is performed by also super talented... PINKY :P

Been really busy these past few weeks, with catching up, roses and FYP. Yes, I agree with RX, we all luv fyp don't we... Haiz... anyway, welcome 2008, hope u will be a good year for the rat... make lots of money *ding ding*

And next up... a new love... Yukie Nishimura!!! Classy, elegant, pretty, talented... what more could you ask for... sometimes god just ain't fair... Her atmospheric playing is just too good to be true... ideal for easy listening, will heal you when u are hurt... haha, yah as if... ok, the following is courtesy of "Nissanskyline", an acquaintance on youtube, well, she sent me the score for yukie's "a letter" or "手纸" so thanks there. Got Yukie's book from Kinokuniya last weekend, so will try to find time to play them... a whopping $45... for a thin book... :(

Folding paper is therapeutic... did another simple flower arrangement for my beloved mum... who is like so into my works now... feels like doing art project all over again...3D-art... haha

Still in the midst of exams... but already feels like its over... disturbing all other people... so must apologize to all those i disturb, including jasmine, queen pig, QQ, tak tak, juergen chan-ster, ginger, xindy etc etc... haha but nothing to do wat... not my fault wat???!!!

Anyway, thank goodness have my piano in hall with me... at least got things to do, and jay released his new album at the right time, got things for me to play, wonderful album, one of his best so far i reckon...

Exam blues...

Exams round the corner... feeling the heat though not as much as previous semesters but still... ok la... still acceptable since lowered my expectations and targets already with nothing more to work towards... GPA more or less there le... sadness...

Got my beloved Casio digital piano finally... it will keep me company through the days of my exams in my hostel... haha yesterday play till so late security guard come and knock on my door... dunno which idiot complain... nv ask you all to pay for my performance still wanna complain... kaoz... 不识货!!!

I will keep everything short today, cos received a freaking long case study for exams on Nucor... a whopping 23 pages... one of the longest cases I have ever seen... there are longer la... just that I usually don't read them. So long and dry I think it shortened my life...

Nonetheless, my A+ group yet again created then "imaginable" and "expected" getting an A+ for the final GMS project... woohoo... although all within expectation *嚣张* haha... still super happy to see that grade just before the exams... boosted my morale a whole lot...

Whoever watched 不能说的秘密 would remember the 斗琴 scene in the movie... haha just now went to Carrefour to look for my keyboard which my friends have all kindly donated for me to buy, but offer was over, but then there will be one soon so the salesman beckoned me to wait. Since I have nothing better to do, played the piano on display for a while.

Along came a young little girl, started playing in front of me... I sensed a challenge... hmmm...

She started playing Canon in D so in reply I played Fur Elise, then she played Ballade pour Adeline, then I challenged her with Mariage D'amour, then she switched to pop song, playing 不能说的秘密, I answered again with 曹操, but before I let her start, I decided to strike first in the next blow, then I played the short excerpt from 不能说的秘密, the movie, the first song in their piano battle...

Then she left... haha... I win!!!!
