通宵...

Tried my best to conquer Kamiya's ancient dragon... 8 hours... precreasing itself took about 2+ hours...

This was my hmmm... 3rd attempt? still... depressing, didn't know how to get the folds in neatly and firmly... the paper gets much too complicated and too thick to mold... perhaps i should try a bigger piece of paper.. but where do u get a paper larger than mahjong paper!!!???? haha probably need about 1.5 ~ 1.6 m to fold nicely... irritating

Wasn't very satisfied with the cobra... so tried it again, this time taping 3 strips of mahjong paper together... so the size of the paper is slightly less than 3m... pretty long piece of paper... but worth the effort... a decent cobra... haha... had a hell of a time folding... super long... almost feels never ending... nearly 3m worth of pleat folding... took half an hour my entire life!!!! Ok... haha its just half an hour.. heck... anyway i did it while watching tv so its ok...

Made changes to the head, opened up one more layer of flap so the head looks bigger and have more shape... only thing missing is the tongue... gotta find some way to get it out.. haha...
Mum got a scare by that snake... haha, must be really lifelike... hehe she aske me to put that away, it gives her the tremors. One fine day, i'll find a big piece of grey or brown paper, fold a good one and leave it in her closet... haha... *evil*

After that... folded a bat for fun... *bad bad bat*

Things are fine now...

Things are back to how it used to be...fine again...

Finally, recess week... but recess week also not free... so many things to do, but beats going to school of course...

Folding again... haha, this time its a Rhino and a small pig (or a wild boar rather)... Why a Rhino? Cos someone said the tiger i did for QQ look like a rhino...:(

The rhino still look abit weird, perhaps the head is wee bit smaller than i liked it to be... will try to tweak it though...

But the little pig is so intricately cute and detailed... tat size is out of an A4 paper, so i definitely need a bigger paper to fold it properly... *pink pig* *pink pig*

Oh ya... other than that, there is the Cobra... haha couldn't find a long enuf paper to make a very good one... the best i could find at home was a mahjong paper (1m x 1m) so it looks rather like a short snake...

Well Ginger requested me to be her instrumentalist for a hall 3 歌谣 event somewhere in october, so i said ok... she wanted to sing 任性 by Stef Sun... so have to practice a bit liaoz... Sneak preview...

Hazel's wedding was quite a nice one... though a few cock ups here and there... M-hotel banquet... stay away from them man, service like shit, haha. However, my roses were a popular hit... which is a good thing.

Hmmm... suddenly was like saying hi to so many ppl i dun even know! but my roses really aren't bad huh...!

Ok... went to a charity concert last saturday, had to write a concert review for my chinese music elective, so went with Yi Tak and his girlfriend, Cindy. I would say, the concert's not too bad, and my fav segment was the piano solo by a japanese prodigy, only 10-years old, plays like a pro, fascinating. Ryo Moriwaki, will be looking out for you.

Well, Cindy wasn't convinced that I could play, so... lets see ah...
Meanwhile, someone over at the other side of the world, someone special, mentioned that its been a while since she heard a certain boy play for her (lets see hmmm about 8 months? maybe more?). Actually wanted to borrow the keyboard from a Hall 3 friend and play it for her over webcam, sad='( , cannot borrow. But now that technology is so advanced, who needs those? I'll just post them here right? wah... how smart can i get? okie okie... dedicated to someone special...

Folding and folding

Haven't been diligently updating this blog... been busy the past few weeks with work, ppl's wedding proj etc and of cos folding... haha
recently things haven't been going my way and the ppl around me dun seem to be around anymore... sadness... gotta forget all these... dad in trouble, mum injury, aunt's death, renunciation problem... and on top of all... school...!!!
burning out from studying.. just wanna grad, dun feel like mugging anymore, live happy man...
the other time, i was bored, so decided fold... some of the things during the "blue period" to cheer myself up

Yah meanwhile... working on ginger's sister's (Hazel's) wedding... placed an order of 80-99 roses... see how things go... working hard... currently at 47 mark... after that will be lilies... hmmph.. should really ask them to pay me for that, haha... but ok la hope they return the favour when its my turn.
Meanwhile... meanwhile... amidst all that, QQ requested a tiger from me, hmmm looked around, no decent ones, less the one by the legendary Satoshi Kamiya. Its actually the Smiledon model but with a few changes to make it more "tigerry"... free chocolates for my effort...
