Obsession with roses...

Nothing to do today... so folded roses again... was at Kinokuniya during the weekends, picked up a book by Toshikazu Kawasaki where he discussed the process of rose designing, the symmetries and the folds.

Some tips and insights he shared, which i remember and memorize... decided to try out today. the book is like 30+ and i decided its not worth it... haha instead read and tried to remember key points, folding the rose in my head...

Dun remember everything, only the part about increasing number of petals with staggered folds... here is the rough try... pretty decent.. need more practise i guess...

The rose looks full bloom now, but dunno whether its "over-bloomed" ... must pack the folds neater together... will try again...
